These are 1981–2010 averages, not a forecast; the department's province forecast gives the days ahead, and Pattaya weather month by month has the sea.

Pattaya Mail called the 2026 festival free and expected large crowds of Thai and international visitors. If the 2027 dates follow the same pattern, expect the busiest evenings on the stage's beach those weekends. The events calendar carries the rest of the year.
Hotel rates and crowds in March
Hotels publish their own seasons, so there is no single March price for the city. One published example: Areca Lodge's internet rate for a Standard Plus room is 2,260 baht a night with breakfast from 11 January to 30 April 2027, against 2,610 baht in its peak from 10 December to 10 January. That is one hotel's rates, not a guide to every hotel.
With no bank holiday in March, the busiest dates are the festival weekends, if the city repeats them, and the run-up to Songkran in early April.
What to book early
- A room near the stage for a festival weekend, once the 2027 dates are out; book a rate you can cancel until then.
- For April, the nights around Songkran: Songkran in Pattaya has last year's dates.
