The through tickets
Koh Kood and Koh Mak are islands of Trat province, beyond Koh Chang. Neither operator sails from Pattaya: both operators sell one ticket that covers a road leg from Pattaya and a catamaran to the island. On 23 October 2026 their booking pages showed these departures for 15 November 2026, and the same times and fares for 15 December 2026 and 15 January 2027:
| To | Operator and start | Departs | Arrives | Adult fare |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Koh Kood, Ao Salad pier | Boonsiri, its Pattaya office | 08:30 | 17:00 | 1,100 baht |
| Koh Kood, Ao Salad pier | Boonsiri, Terminal 21 Pattaya | 08:00 | 16:45 | 1,100 baht |
| Koh Kood, Ao Salad pier | Boonsiri, pick-up at your hotel | 07:30 | 17:00 | 1,200 baht |
| Koh Kood | Seudamgo ECO, pick-up at your hotel | About 08:00 | 16:20 | 1,250 baht |
| Koh Kood | Seudamgo VIP, pick-up at your hotel | About 08:00 | 16:20 | 1,850 baht |
| Koh Mak, Ao Nid pier | Boonsiri, its Pattaya office | 08:30 | 16:15 | 1,150 baht |
| Koh Mak, Ao Nid pier | Boonsiri, Terminal 21 Pattaya | 08:00 | 16:30 | 1,150 baht |
| Koh Mak, Ao Nid pier | Boonsiri, pick-up at your hotel | 07:30 | 16:30 | 1,250 baht |
Boonsiri’s fares for children aged 5 to 11 are the same as the adult fare on these routes; toddlers aged 2 to 4 and infants under 2 pay 500 baht from the office or Terminal 21, and 600 baht with hotel pick-up. These are the fares the booking pages showed, not a seat held for you: book for your own date.
What the ticket covers
Boonsiri’s booking page names the vehicles: its East bus from Pattaya, then a Boonsiri catamaran to the island. Seudamgo’s result reads “Pickup + Ferry. All connections guaranteed”, on a large catamaran, in an ECO or a VIP class; its Koh Kood office is at Ao Salad Pier.
Neither operator publishes the time you reach the mainland pier or which sailing your ticket uses, so treat the ticket as one journey and do not book a separate boat around it. Arrival is late afternoon: arrange the ride from the pier to your resort before you travel.
Where the times differ
Boonsiri’s own timetable image, marked “Effective from 1st October 2026 – 31th May 2027”, gives some arrivals a little earlier than its booking page: 16:45 instead of 17:00 at Koh Kood, and 16:15 instead of 16:30 at Koh Mak with hotel pick-up. The heading above the images still names January to May 2026. Plan on the later time, and take the time on your ticket as the one that counts.
Booking, changes and the weather
- Check-in: be at the pick-up point at least 30 minutes before departure. Boonsiri treats a missed departure as a no-show: no refund and no change of date.
- Cancelling: for a booking made directly with Boonsiri, 80% of the fare is refunded if you cancel at least seven days before travel, and nothing after that.
- Changing the date: the first change costs 50 baht if you ask at least three days ahead; later changes cost 20% of the fare.
- Holidays: Boonsiri may refuse cancellations and changes for public holidays and peak periods.
- Weather: Boonsiri can change times, routes and vessels for weather and sea conditions, and does not pay for a hotel or flight you miss as a result.
Seudamgo sells its package with instant confirmation on its own site; read its terms there before you pay. For the bigger island on the same coast, see Pattaya to Koh Chang; for the Gulf islands far to the south, see Pattaya to Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao.
