Centre Point Prime Hotel Pattaya is a big, modern, family-first hotel — a 33-storey, 544-room tower on Sukhumvit Road near the North Pattaya junction and Terminal 21, part of the well-known Thai Centre Point group. Its headline feature is water: guests get free access to the on-site Aloha Hawaii wave pool water park, with a genuine wave pool and waterslides, plus a separate third-floor pool, so keeping children happy for a day requires no effort and no extra spend. Rooms are contemporary and unusually practical, most with a kitchenette — fridge, microwave and kettle — which suits families and longer stays, and touches like 24-hour room service, a kids' club and a 22nd-floor Seaview Lounge for sunsets round out the package. For all that, the price is remarkably low, often from around 1,200–1,600 baht, which is why it rates so highly for value. The trade-off is location and scale: it sits on the busy Sukhumvit artery rather than by the sea (the beach is roughly 10–15 minutes away), and a hotel this large gets busy, with pools and breakfast at their liveliest in the school holidays. A shuttle runs to Terminal 21, and baht buses and Grab handle the rest. If you are travelling with kids and want space, a water park and modern rooms without paying beachfront rates, it is one of Pattaya's best-value big hotels. Note it is distinct from the group's other Pattaya properties.

Grand Palazzo Hotel is a big, value-focused hotel in North Pattaya, tucked off Pattaya Second Road Soi 3 (Petchtrakul Road) about 350 metres from the Central Marina shopping complex. Its calling card is space: this is one of the Pattaya hotels people mention for genuinely oversized rooms and suites — large, comfortably furnished units, most with balconies and some with bay views — at prices that undercut what the square-meterage would suggest, often from around 1,600 baht. Beyond the rooms it is a proper full-service property: a large swimming pool on the third floor, a separate landscaped lagoon pool with waterfalls and a children's pool, a spa, a fitness centre and several dining outlets, with the shops, cinema and food of Central Marina a short walk away. The honest trade-off is location. Despite marketing that leans on Walking Street, the hotel is not central to the nightlife and it is not on the sea — the beach is roughly a 15-minute walk and Walking Street a 15-minute drive — so this is a base for value, space and shopping convenience rather than a step-out-to-the-beach or step-out-to-the-bars stay. Reviews are generally positive on cleanliness, room size and staff, with the usual caveats that a hotel this large can feel a little impersonal and that upkeep draws mixed comments. For families and groups who want room to spread out without paying beachfront prices, it is strong value.
