A slick 32-storey 5-star wired straight into a shopping mall, Grande Centre Point Pattaya is built around one very appealing idea: everything you need, indoors and under one roof. It rises above North Pattaya with direct internal access to Terminal 21 Pattaya, so shops, a cinema, a food hall and dozens of restaurants are effectively part of the hotel. For families and anyone who values convenience over beachfront, that’s a strong pitch.

Clearing up the water-park confusion

First, an important point of accuracy, because it trips people up. There are two Grande Centre Point hotels in Pattaya. This one — the tower connected to Terminal 21 in North Pattaya — has a rooftop infinity pool and a family pool. The much-photographed rooftop water park with slides belongs to the newer sister property, Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya, over in Na Kluea. They share a brand and a similar look, but they’re different hotels in different locations. If you’re booking specifically for the water park, make sure you’re booking Space Pattaya, not this one.

Rooms

All 396 rooms are modern, generously sized and kept in good condition, with floor-to-ceiling glass making the most of the height. From the upper floors the bay and city views are genuinely impressive. Rooms come with the expected 5-star kit — 24-hour room service, safe, minibar, fast Wi-Fi — and recent guest reviews are consistently strong on cleanliness and comfort. Because it’s such a large hotel, the main trade-off is scale: lifts and the breakfast buffet can get busy at peak times.

Pool, dining and facilities

Dining runs from an all-day restaurant to a rooftop venue, and — crucially — you can be inside Terminal 21’s food hall or cinema within minutes without going outside. Where it is

The hotel sits inland on Second Road in North Pattaya, not on the beach. The sea, promenade and Central Festival are a short walk or a one-stop baht-bus hop away, and central Pattaya’s restaurants and bars are all close. This is a city-convenience hotel, not a beach-resort escape — you’re buying the mall connection, the rooftop pool and the location, not private sand. For beachfront calm on the same coast, look to Pullman Pattaya Hotel G at Wong Amat.

Who it suits — and who it doesn’t

Book here if you want central, modern 5-star comfort with a mall attached, a great rooftop pool and easy access to shopping, cinema and dining — especially with kids, and especially in wet or scorching weather when an indoor connection is gold.

Look elsewhere if you specifically want the big water park (book Space Pattaya), if you need to wake up on the beach, or if you’d rather a quieter, lower-rise setting away from the traffic and constant activity of central Second Road.

Getting there
