Grand Palazzo Hotel is a big, value-focused hotel in North Pattaya, tucked off Pattaya Second Road Soi 3 (Petchtrakul Road) about 350 metres from the Central Marina shopping complex. Its calling card is space: this is one of the Pattaya hotels people mention for genuinely oversized rooms and suites — large, comfortably furnished units, most with balconies and some with bay views — at prices that undercut what the square-meterage would suggest, often from around 1,600 baht. Beyond the rooms it is a proper full-service property: a large swimming pool on the third floor, a separate landscaped lagoon pool with waterfalls and a children's pool, a spa, a fitness centre and several dining outlets, with the shops, cinema and food of Central Marina a short walk away. The honest trade-off is location. Despite marketing that leans on Walking Street, the hotel is not central to the nightlife and it is not on the sea — the beach is roughly a 15-minute walk and Walking Street a 15-minute drive — so this is a base for value, space and shopping convenience rather than a step-out-to-the-beach or step-out-to-the-bars stay. Reviews are generally positive on cleanliness, room size and staff, with the usual caveats that a hotel this large can feel a little impersonal and that upkeep draws mixed comments. For families and groups who want room to spread out without paying beachfront prices, it is strong value.
