What the aquarium is

The Bangsaen Aquarium & Museum is run by the Institute of Marine Science of Burapha University, on Long Had Bangsaen Road at Bang Saen, Chon Buri. It is a public aquarium with fish tanks, a touch pool and a museum, and a research institute; it is not the same as Underwater World Pattaya in the city, whose tickets and rules are different.

Shows and feeding times

The institute's home page listed these on 22 October 2026:

  • Diver feeding the fish: 14:30 daily, with an extra show at 10:30 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
  • Touch pool: 10:00 to 10:30 and 14:00 to 14:30 daily.
  • Feeding the fish from the pond's edge: coupons on sale from 13:00, for 20 people, 50 baht each; the feeding is at 14:00. The questions page adds a 10:00 round on public holidays.

Allow time for the 14:30 show and the touch pool after lunch, and arrive well before 16:00, when the aquarium closes.

Getting there and access

The aquarium is on Long Had Bangsaen Road in Saen Suk, near Bang Saen beach, north of Pattaya on the way to Bangkok. The institute publishes no bus or songthaew route from Pattaya, so a car or ride-hailing app is the plain way; combine it with Nong Mon Market at Saen Suk, or see day trips from Pattaya.

The questions page says the aquarium has parking, a ramp for wheelchairs, and parking spaces for wheelchair users inside the gate.
