An indoor market under one roof, on Second Road.

Pattaya Night Bazaar is an indoor market of fixed stalls under one roof on Second Road in Central Pattaya, listed roughly opposite the Central Pattaya mall, selling clothes, bags, sunglasses and souvenirs; entry is free. Listings disagree on its hours, from as early as 10:00 to as late as midnight, but all say it opens daily. It suits a short browse out of the sun from a central hotel.

What the market is like

Unlike Pattaya's open-air night markets, the Night Bazaar is a permanent building of fixed shops and stalls under one roof, on Second Road in Central Pattaya. Listings describe more than 250 stalls and shops selling clothes, shoes, bags and luggage, sunglasses, hats and souvenirs.

It is more of a covered shopping arcade than a local market, and the goods overlap with what Beach Road stalls sell. Its draw is being central and out of the sun and rain.

Opening hours

No official site or published hours were found on 1 October 2026, and listings disagree. Trip.com gave 10:00 to 23:00 daily on that date, Wongnai 11:00 to 23:00, and Best Price Travel 11:00 to midnight; a 2026 guide from Pattaya Pointer gives about 17:00 to midnight.

All of them agree that it trades every day. Go from late afternoon, when more stalls are open, and do not count on every unit trading on a quiet weekday.

Getting there

The market is on Second Road in Central Pattaya, listed roughly opposite the Central Pattaya mall, so from hotels on Beach Road it is a walk through the mall or along a soi. Second Road carries traffic north, so a shared songthaew (baht bus) up Second Road from South Pattaya passes it.

For a ride-hailing car, give the driver "Pattaya Night Bazaar, Second Road" and check the map pin. For every option, see getting around Pattaya.

Who it suits, and tips

  • Visitors staying central who want souvenirs or holiday clothes without crossing town.
  • A hot or wet hour: the market is indoors.
  • Ask the price first, and bargain only where nothing is marked: make one fair offer, then accept the answer or walk on.
  • Carry cash in small notes; not every stall takes cards, and a foreign banking app may not work with Thai QR codes.
  • Check sizes, seams and zips before you pay, because stalls rarely take returns.

For a larger open-air evening market with local shoppers, see Thepprasit Night Market, on the days it trades.

Nearby

The Central Pattaya mall is across Second Road, Royal Garden Plaza and Mike Shopping Mall are a short walk south, and the beach is two blocks away.

Questions

Is Pattaya Night Bazaar open during the day?

Most listings say so: Trip.com, Wongnai and Best Price Travel give opening at 10:00 or 11:00, despite the name, while one 2026 guide gives 17:00. Go from late afternoon, when more stalls are open.

Is Pattaya Night Bazaar still open?

Listings checked on 1 October 2026 still show it trading daily, and a 2026 guide describes it as open every day. It publishes no official hours, so check the map listing on the day.

Can you bargain at Pattaya Night Bazaar?

Where nothing is marked, a polite offer is normal at market stalls in Thailand: ask the price, make one fair offer, then accept the answer or walk on. Where a price is printed, it is usually fixed. Compare a few stalls first, because many sell the same goods.

Is Pattaya Night Bazaar the same as Thepprasit Night Market?

No. The Night Bazaar is an indoor building on Second Road in Central Pattaya, open daily; Thepprasit Night Market is a large open-air evening market inland on Thepprasit Road, on fewer days.
