What the tower is
Pattaya Park Tower rises 240 metres at the Jomtien end of Pratumnak, on Thappraya Road. It belongs to Pattaya Park Beach Resort and is one of the city's older attractions.
The tower holds three things: the observation deck, the Tower Jump and, on the three floors below the deck, revolving restaurants. The resort also advertises a water park beside its beach.
The observation deck
The deck is on the 55th floor. From it you look north over Pattaya Bay, south along Jomtien Beach and out to the islands offshore.
The resort listed the deck at 200 baht in July 2026. Haze and low cloud flatten the view, so choose a clear day.
The Tower Jump
The Tower Jump starts on the 56th floor. You are clipped into a harness on a safety cable and lowered at speed about 170 metres down the outside of the tower. The resort listed it at 300 baht in July 2026.
It stops in high wind or rain. On a doubtful day, ask whether it is running before you set out, and ask about any age, weight or health rules when you book. For a bungee jump or a human slingshot instead, see Sanook Park on Thepprasit Road.
Getting there
Shared songthaews run along Thappraya Road between Central Pattaya and Jomtien. Pattaya Mail reports the fare as 15 baht for trips up to 10 km and up to 20 baht for longer ones, since 10 April 2026.
Ride-hailing cars and taxis can drop you at the resort, about 15 minutes by car from Pattaya Beach according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand's Tokyo office. For every option, see getting around Pattaya.
Questions
When is the best time to go up?
On a clear, calm day, when the view reaches furthest and the jump is running. On 1 October 2026 neither the resort's site nor the Tourism Authority of Thailand's Tokyo listing gave hours for the deck or the jump; the listing gives the revolving restaurant's buffet as 11:00 to 15:00 and 16:30 to 22:00. Does the tower ticket include the water park?
No. The water park is a separate purchase. When checked in September 2026 the resort's water-park page gave no hours, prices or age rules; the Tourism Authority of Thailand's Tokyo listing gives it as open from 09:00 to 18:00, so ask before you plan on it. Is there a free view nearby?
Yes, on the same hill. Pattaya Viewpoint looks north across Pattaya Bay and is free, according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Big Buddha Hill is also on Pratumnak Hill; it is a working temple, so cover shoulders and knees.
