Best International Restaurants in Pattaya

International dining in Pattaya can mean choosing individual dishes, filling a plate from several buffet stations, or watching a chef cook your meal. Start with that decision. Casa Pascal, Edge and Benihana are the three options compared here using their operator pages, read on 7 September 2026.

This comparison describes published formats and practical trade-offs. It does not certify food quality, service consistency or live table availability. The four historical or unresolved names from the earlier guide remain below, outside these three dining choices.

Three current dining choices

Casa Pascal

The operator’s menu puts European and Thai dishes in the same à la carte selection: examples include salt-baked barramundi, schnitzel and Thai curries. Its Second Road location is opposite Royal Garden Plaza. For a table that agrees to order individual courses but wants different cuisines, that is the useful distinction.

The published schedule separates 18:00–23:00 dinner from an 08:00–14:00 breakfast/brunch buffet, daily. The buffet page describes bread, egg and barbecue stations with Western and Asian dishes; it also warns that prices and availability can change. Treat these as separate meals when comparing costs. The buffet page carries a 2019 publication date, so it is not enough to establish today’s all-in rate. Use the official booking link or phone and confirm your menu, dietary requests and total charges.

Edge

Hilton’s dining page identifies Edge on level 14, with indoor and outdoor seating facing Pattaya Bay. It lists rotating lunch themes, weekend brunch and a daily seafood dinner buffet. Compare it for the buffet format and setting.

Those services are different purchases. Ask which buffet applies on your date, what drinks and charges are included, and whether the requested seating is available. The page links a table-booking service, but this check did not establish a date-specific rate or a guaranteed window table. An à la carte meal may be a better fit when your group wants only a small number of dishes.

Benihana at Avani Pattaya

Benihana’s Pattaya page distinguishes teppanyaki tables from a sushi bar and outdoor terrace. It lists a casual dress code and separate teppanyaki, sushi/sashimi and drinks menus. Choose this format if seeing the cooking is part of the plan; ask which table setup the reservation covers rather than assuming every seat provides the same experience.

For a concrete price example, the linked 2026 Lunch Express menu, read 7 September 2026, listed unagi don at ฿550 before 10% service charge and applicable government tax. It specified noon–17:00, a limited-time offer and no combination with other discounts, without an end date. Confirm availability; this is not a teppanyaki dinner or a guaranteed future price. The operator supplies a reservation link and Pattaya contact details for that check.

Choose by group, not by prestige

Choose the format before choosing the name. Casa Pascal lets diners build an à la carte order; Edge supplies the buffet comparison; Benihana makes cooking at the table part of the outing. Check the menu that applies to your service, then compare the full bill including drinks and charges. A lunchtime promotion should not be used as the price of a different evening experience.

Historical and unconfirmed records

The four names below remain useful for interpreting old recommendations. Their closure or conflict evidence is still dated July 2026; it was not freshly verified during the three-operator check above. Do not treat the historical menu descriptions as current dining options.

Mantra Restaurant & Bar

Mantra is permanently closed. The stored 20 July 2026 evidence includes the Siam2nite closure notice, Google and Restaurant Guru; Amari’s dining list no longer included it.

Seven open kitchens, a dramatic room, a walk-through cellar and Sunday brunch defined the former venue. They are historical features, not a current menu or reservable occasion. No reliable relocation or reopening is recorded. Do not use its old hours, brunch prices or reservation links.

Acropolis Greek Food

Acropolis remains unconfirmed. The stored record says Google marked the exact listing permanently closed on 24 July 2026, while Trip.com, accessed 29 July 2026, still showed scheduled opening at Soi Buakhao Market beside Tony’s Gym. No operator channel resolved that conflict.

A 2014 relocation report documented the move from a stall to a market-side restaurant. That supports historical identity and location, not present service. Earlier dish lists, prices and seating descriptions should not guide a current meal; obtain direct operating confirmation before making a special trip.

Alt Heidelberg

Alt Heidelberg is permanently closed in the stored 25 July 2026 evidence. Google’s exact-name record and Tripadvisor supplied the closure and former identity.

It was a German restaurant on South Pattaya Beach Road near Walking Street. Dated historical material placed the business in 1979; older sources disagree on the street number. Neither its old German menu nor its longevity establishes a present dining option, and no successor relationship is verified.

Captain’s Corner

Captain’s Corner remains unconfirmed because the stored 24 July 2026 sources conflict. The Residence Garden’s restaurant page promoted meal service, while Google’s exact standalone listing carried a permanent-closure label. The shared identity is the hotel restaurant at 146/107 Thappraya Road.

The hotel material described poolside dining, breakfast, lunch, dinner and Thai and international dishes. Current BBQ prices, child rates and hotel pickup are unconfirmed. Confirm directly with The Residence Garden whether Captain’s Corner is serving and which menu is available before travelling.
