Reserve a particular window or terrace position, arrive before sunset and accept that the most beautiful hour is also when service and public areas feel busiest.

Hilton’s current menu says food is available from 16:00 to 01:00, extending the practical window beyond a conventional dinner reservation. The same page marks vegetarian and vegan choices and identifies allergens dish by dish.

Edge — best high-floor buffet

Fourteen floors above Central Pattaya, Edge turns elevation into a sociable buffet night rather than a hushed tasting-menu experience. The terrace and window line look across the bay, while rotating international and seafood themes make the room useful for families or groups with incompatible tastes. It is less romantic than Horizon and a buffet only represents value when diners arrive hungry. Pick it for abundance, an easy group decision and a high view; choose another restaurant when conversation and carefully paced courses matter more.

Big Fish — best seafood at height

Big Fish sits on the sixth floor of Siam@Siam Design Hotel, high enough to clear nearby roofs and look toward the gulf without pretending to be a skyscraper. The operator currently schedules its seafood buffet Wednesday–Sunday from 17:30–21:30 and daily breakfast from 06:00–12:00. It describes daily catches from local fishermen, nightly entertainment, an à la carte menu and valet parking, making the room a more relaxed proposition than the Hilton. The panorama is broader than a street-level restaurant but less dramatic than Horizon. It suits diners who want a smart seafood night and a sunset backdrop without making altitude the entire occasion.

Rimpa Lapin — permanently closed

Rimpa Lapin is a closed historical record. The retained evidence, accessed 1 August 2026, includes Google’s permanent-closure label and a Tripadvisor visitor report saying the restaurant closed in autumn 2025 and the site was demolished. The demolition account is attributed to that visitor, not a new site inspection.

Its Na Jomtien cliff terraces, sea views and Thai seafood were the former appeal. Old sunset-table advice, menus and opening hours are historical and should not be used to plan a visit. No verified successor or relocation is established; this is not a current romantic dinner or reservation option.

Cabbages and Condoms — best hillside Thai meal

Terraces inside the Birds & Bees Resort look out from Pratumnak Hill through tropical planting to the sea. The Thai menu and playful educational theme shape the restaurant’s identity. The official Cabbages & Condoms explanation describes the concept’s public-health mission. It does not establish a current audited allocation from Pattaya diners’ bills to the Population and Community Development Association. It is family-friendly and less formal than a hotel rooftop, though the location and concept are often more memorable than any single dish. Choose it when a mixed group wants Thai food, space and a real sea outlook without the dressier rules of a tower restaurant.

Mantra Restaurant & Bar — permanently closed

Mantra is permanently closed in the stored 20 July 2026 evidence. Siam2nite, Google and Restaurant Guru recorded closure, and the restaurant no longer appeared in Amari’s dining line-up. This is a carried-forward status correction, not a fresh September verification.

The seven kitchens, dramatic multi-level room, walk-through wine cellar and Sunday brunch belonged to the former business. They explain its occasion-dining history but cannot provide an indoor fallback when it rains. No verified reopening or relocation is recorded. For a literal rooftop and the biggest city panorama, choose Horizon. Groups who want variety should use Edge, while seafood diners wanting a slightly less formal high-floor night fit Big Fish.
