What is inside the park

Legend Siam presents Thai history and customs as a theme park rather than a museum. The Nation reported in 2018, before it opened, that the developer, Nusasiri, had put about 4 billion baht into the project, with a replica of Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the royal temple of old Ayutthaya, among its buildings, and a staged battle of Bang Rachan with stunt performers.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand's Tokyo office describes a site of more than 100,000 square metres in six zones: traditional Thai buildings, an amusement area, shops, places to eat and a learning centre.

TheSmartLocal's visit in September 2022 described:

  • A village of old-style Thai stilt houses with folk-tale murals, reached on foot or by tram.
  • A small golden pagoda at the centre, with Buddha images facing the four directions.
  • A vintage shopping street, the 100-Year Market, on two floors.
  • A carousel and a Ferris wheel by the canal, and rowing-boat trips on the canal for about 100 baht.

Renown Travel's undated guide adds a floating market, a lookout tower, the Mae Nak haunted house and Thai classical dance.

What visitors reported in 2025

The park is listed as open, and ticket sites were selling entry in October 2026, but recent visitor reports describe a much quieter place than the descriptions above. Reviews on Tripadvisor from March, May and November 2025 describe very few visitors, most of the shop units closed and parts of the park out of use, and one reviewer wrote of a partial refund after complaining. A Thai-language post on Trip.com noted more staff than visitors.

None of this comes from the operator, and conditions can change. Before you make the ride, call the park and ask which shows, boats and rides are running on your day, and treat older photos and tour descriptions with care.

The grounds are also used for events: a music festival listing gives LEO FEST 2026 at Legend Siam on 7 and 8 November 2026. On an event day, expect different hours and tickets.

Tickets and opening hours

Published prices and hours disagree. The Tourism Authority of Thailand's Tokyo office, checked on 1 October 2026, gives 10:00 to 18:00 and tickets from 350 baht. Renown Travel's undated guide gives 10:00 to 20:00 daily, 500 baht for adults and 350 baht for children 90 to 120 cm tall, with children under 90 cm free. TheSmartLocal gave 10:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and to 20:00 at weekends in 2022, with packages from 300 to 3,000 baht.

Packages sold online bundle entry with the tram or boat, rides or a transfer from Pattaya, so check what yours includes. Confirm the price and closing time on +66 64 586 8005 before you set off.

Getting there from Pattaya

Legend Siam is on Sukhumvit Road in Na Jomtien, in Sattahip district, about 20 km south of central Pattaya. From Pattaya Beach or Jomtien, a taxi or ride-hailing car takes 30 to 40 minutes, according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand's Tokyo office, depending on traffic on Sukhumvit Road.

The park is outside the baht-bus loop, and a quiet afternoon means few cars waiting at the gate. Arrange the ride back, or agree when the driver will return, before you go in. For every way of getting around, see getting around Pattaya.

Who it suits and what to pair it with

It suits visitors who like Thai architecture and photographs, and families with young children who want a short outing with boats and gentle rides, once you have confirmed they are running. It suits you less if you want a busy park with every show and shop open: see the temples and cultural sights for other choices.

Much of the park is outdoors, so bring a hat and water, and cover shoulders and knees if you plan to go into the temple replica.

Na Jomtien has other sights along the same road. Columbia Pictures Aquaverse is also on Sukhumvit Road in Na Jomtien, and inland lie the Swiss Sheep Farm and Khao Chi Chan, the Buddha image on the cliff, so one car for the day can take in two of them.
